Personal Year 9 completes the nine year cycle. It is a time to finish, complete and release what has reached the end of its course, whether that involves relationships, work, habits, ideas or directions that no longer fit. The more space you create by completing what is finished, the more ready you become for the new cycle ahead.
When does Personal Year 9 start?
Your Personal Year turns over on your birthday, not on 1 January.
- Write down your day and month of birth.
- Add every digit of the day, the month and the current year.
- Reduce the total to one digit. 11 and 22 stay master numbers and read as 2 and 4 in the cycle.
For example, someone born on 16 January: 1+6+1+2+0+2+6 = 18, 1+8 = 9. From their birthday in 2026 until their birthday in 2027 they are in Personal Year 9.

Inside the year, each month carries its own Qode: the number of the year plus the calendar month.
