Scope and who we are. This policy covers the QodeX website, the free tools, your account and the paid DeQode+ subscription. The data controller is QodeX, operated by Shani Kuper in Switzerland. For any privacy request, write to qodex.biz@gmail.com.

What we collect. When you create an account we store your email address (and, if you sign in with Google, Facebook or Microsoft, the basic profile they return). We store which plan you have and your subscription status. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. QodeX never sees or stores your card details. The free QodeX Signal and Life Path calculator run inside your browser; your birth date is not sent to our servers. Our hosting also keeps standard technical logs (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for security.

Why we use it. We use your data only to provide what you ask for: to create and secure your account, keep you signed in, remember what you have unlocked, take payment for a subscription, and meet our legal and accounting duties. Where you sign in with a social provider, that is on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We do not sell your data, run advertising, or profile you.

Who processes it. We rely on a few trusted processors acting on our behalf: Supabase (accounts and database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting) and the sign-in provider you choose (Google, Facebook or Microsoft). Some process data outside Switzerland and the EU; where they do, it is under recognised safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies and local storage. We use only strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage, to keep you signed in, remember your language, and remember which tools you have unlocked. Stripe sets its own cookies during checkout for fraud prevention. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it. We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile and entitlement data are erased and any active subscription is cancelled. Payment and invoice records are retained only as long as Swiss tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights. Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can access, correct, export or delete your data and withdraw consent. You can do most of this yourself in your account: "Export my data" and "Delete my account" are available there. You may also email qodex.biz@gmail.com, or lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local EU supervisory authority.
